Insolight is participating in the European Green Bauhaus initiative, a sustainable construction and renovation programme combining energy demand reduction and renewable energy generation for residential and mixed-use buildings. The project targets to implement a unique combination of Near Zero-Energy Building technologies and methods, which will be deployed in three living labs covering various bioclimatic conditions: Sant Gil Eco Neighbourhood in Spain, Kultaranta Green Village in Finland and Da Vinci Labs in France. In this project, our goal will be to mount the solar modules both as both a shading system and a solar electricity generator, protecting people or crops from excess of light & heat.
