We have beautifully entered the TOP100 Swiss Startup list by being the best newcomers! This makes us 18th overall :). This leads us well into the progress we’re making at the moment. WE’RE OFF TO THE SILICON VALLEY!

We have been selected to be among the Venture Leaders startup development program. We will therefore be in the Silicon Valley for the last week of March to gain international exposure in an important market. Read more about it here.

VENTURE KICK III

We’re finishing the year with a nice announcement: We’ve won Venture Kick III :).

We’re very grateful for VK’s ongoing support. As Laurent, our CEO, best puts it:

The three stages of the program helped us to progress on the business aspects, with continuous coaching and monitoring. The support received at the kickers camps was outstanding and extremely efficient, as it helped us transform a technical project into a real venture. Venture Kick is substantial for us to gain visibility and be on the radar of Swiss and international investors

GRANT FOR OUR FIRST PATENT

We are very pleased to announce that P&TS SA, a patent law firm specialized in intellectual property and the protection of inventions, granted us a funding in the framework of the Ethical Innovation Funding Program for our first patent filing. We have entered the Climate-KIC Accelerator, Europe’s largest public private partnership addressing climate change :).

FIT-SEED LOAN

The FIT (Fondation pour l’Innovation Technologique) granted us a CHF100’000.- loan. This loan is aimed at accelerating our product development and build our first pilot site.

SELECTED FOR THE ESA BIC !

We have become part of the ESA Business Incubation Center by utilizing space-grade technologies and making them affordable on earth. Looking forward to a great collaboration within it 🙂 .

EFFICIENCY RECORD: 36.4%

We are proud to announce a new efficiency record of our technology: 36.4%. This result, validated by the Fraunhofer ISE, is a potential world record for a flat panel that can be mounted on a roof.

Conventional solar panels have an efficiency of about 20%, meaning that our technology nearly doubles the energy output per surface. Read more on EPFL’s news section.

This is a very important step toward making solar energy affordable. We are gearing up towards the first pilot site!
